On June 30, 2025, a special event was successfully held at the gallery of the Hellenic American Union as part of the ten-year anniversary celebrations marking Athens’ designation as the capital of the modern Greek state. The event coincided with the themed exhibition “Collectors Narrate: Athena and Athens, 1834”.
The evening featured an honorary award presented to Professor and collector Dr. Michail Scoullos by Mr. George Psathas, President of the Cultural Organization ATHENS Calls ATHENS.
The ceremony also included the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between ATHENS Calls ATHENS and MIO-ECSDE, a Mediterranean-wide federation of civil society organizations working on sustainable development.
Over 60 invited guests attended, including several prominent figures from the political and business sectors.
