Dr Athanasios Chymis is a senior research fellow at the Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE), Athens, Greece. He is a graduate of the Agricultural University of Athens. He has a master’s degree (DEA) from the University of Montpellier, France and Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA.
He works on agricultural economics, business ethics, corporate social responsibility and he uses the lenses of new institutional economics to address modern economic problems. He also studies the role of institutions and competition on socio-economic well-being. His work appears in academic journals, books and conference proceedings both domestic and international. He is the co-editor of the book Public Management as Corporate Social Responsibility: The economic bottom line of Government published in 2015 by Springer International. He is also the co-author of three books.
