Christina Maistreli

Christina Maistreli is a professional architect. After graduating architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she attended the cross-sectional M.Sc. “Design-space-culture” in the National Technical University of Athens, where she focused her research in the urban development of Dubai and how Dubai’s economic model of urban growth affect the architectural outcome produced in urban space.
Her academic interest continued on the way that people from different cultural backgrounds perceive the spatial symbols that constitute the Athenian cultural urban landscape. Professionally, after working for many years in well-known architectural offices where she gained valuable experience in large scale projects (Economic University of Athens, Athens Metro Anthoupoli and Peristeri Stations, the former building of Eleftherotypia newspaper, Hotels in Dubai and Zurich etc) she started in 2021 her own practice.
She undertakes projects of multiple scales and functions aiming to create spaces for people to live, work and get inspired taking seriously into account the environmental impact of the built environment.
