Dr. Mohammad M. Banat
Dr. Mohammad M. Banat is a Senior Member of the IEEE and an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan.
He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada, and has more than three decades of experience in teaching, research, and international scientific collaboration.
His research focuses on wireless and optical communications, AI-native communication networks, signal processing, and intelligent networking systems. Dr. Banat has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals and conference proceedings and serves as a reviewer and Technical Program Committee member for prestigious IEEE and other international conferences.
He is the founder of the Wireless Communications Laboratory at JUST, Counselor of the JUST IEEE Student Branch, and Chairman of Mosharaka International Conferences, promoting global scientific collaboration and interdisciplinary research.
His current work explores the convergence of intelligent communication infrastructures, artificial intelligence, and ethical, human-centered technological innovation.)
