Teacher Competences for Sustainability

This talk will explore the critical competences that educators will need in order to contribute to transforming our world, one classroom at a time. The talk will introduce the outputs of a six-year action research programme called A Rounder Sense of Purpose.

This project worked with over 500 students, teachers, and principals across eight countries to develop a framework of twelve educator competences. The results help to identify the key components of what it takes to offer a truly transformative education.
