Basilio Petkidis
Basilio Petkidis is a Senior Lecturer in the Business & Technology Department at Webster University Athens and President & CEO of Mediterranean Gas S.A.
He hasextensive executive experience in energy, finance, strategy, corporate restructuring and business development, including senior leadership roles in the Greek petroleum sector. His professional work has included the development of energy infrastructureprojects, capital-market activity, financial management and strategic advisory.
He holds an MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Lancaster University/University of Macedonia and bachelor’s degrees in Management and Multinational Business from Florida State University. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and has also served in business, maritime and community organizations in Greece and Panama.
His academic and professional interests include energy markets, infrastructure, finance, technology, sustainability
and the economic implications of the energy transition.
