Professor John Lekakis is Professor of Cardiology at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Head of the Department of Cardiology, Central Clinic of Athens. He has served as President of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, President of the Hellenic Society of Lipidology, Atherosclrerosis and Vascular Disease and President of the Hellenic Society of Digital Medicine.
Professor John Lekakis has been member of the Scientific Committee of the European Society of Cardiology Congress, Secretary of the Working Group of Peripheral Circulation of the European Society of Cardiology, President of the Working Group of Peripheral Circulation of the European Society of Cardiology, Member of the committee to Practice Guidelines of the European Society of Cardiology, member of the Task Forces for Guidelines on Infective endocarditis, StableCAD, Pulmonary hypertension, Pulmonary embolism of the European Society of Cardiology.
