Professor Stavros Oikonomidis is archaeologist, Adjunct Professor at the Arcadia University, Glenside, USA and Director of the Greek – Albanian Archaeological Expedition at the Tri – National zone of Prespa. As a field archaeologist he has worked in Greece, Italy, in Middle and Near Eastern countries, and in the Balkans.
His main interest in Archaeology focuses on the cultural relations between the Aegean and the Balkans of the LBA and the EIA. He is engaged to archaeological projects in Greece, such as the study of finds from the Cave of the Nymphs in Boeotia, and from the Lokrian Kynos.
He is the author of numerous articles presented and published in Greece and abroad.
