Stavros Solomos is Senior Researcher at the Research Centre for Atmospheric Physics and Climatology at the Academy of Athens. His research focuses on numerical model development, modeling of atmospheric physical processes at all scales, aerosols and their impacts on weather and climate, severe atmospheric phenomena, air pollution, dispersion modeling and climate change. He has 59 publications in scientific journals (h-index = 19). He has participated in 11 international campaigns and in >30 research projects (in 4 as PI) related to atmospheric research. He is responsible for the development of the modeling infrastructure at the site of Delos.
