e-Diagnostics: New diagnostic tools for the post-covid-19 era.

The covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the incorporation of “Digital Health” components (e.g., virtual appointments between physicians and patients, electronic medical records) into the existing health care systems.

eDiagnostics,  devices that can perform home-based medical testing and report the results to physicians or centralized medical systems, are expected to add significant capabilities to the near-future health care systems and greatly support their “Digital Health” components.

This talk will summarize recent developments in the field of eDiagnostics and highlight opportunities and challenges for the introduction of new eDiagnostic devices into the market.
