From the dawn of man to the rise of the machines

This presentation attempts to bring to the surface several technology – and – economy – related issues so as to highlight how our society corresponds and how, if so, the situation is changeable.

As we are marching towards the digitalisation of man, several ethical and philosophical issues arise that make us reconsider and redetermine our relationship to technology; the effect of technology upon the economy, overpopulation, the climate crisis and the boundaries of classic values that we are taught (including, but not limited to, the uniqueness of the nation and often its superiority, the trust in representative democracy) seem to be acting as an obstacle to the need for the autonomisation of the subject.

Through this article we shall try to shed light to the above matters in some cases based on the ideas of thinkers who have tried to deal with them.
