International Conference –Cooperation with AHEPA

The educational, charitable but also interventionist organizationATHENScallsATHENS (ACA) organized a press conference and ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation withΑΗΕPΑin the Cultural Center “CostisPalamas” of the National &Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The signing of cooperation with the globally influential expatriate organization comes shortly after the signing of the corresponding memorandum with the European Institute of Communicationat a time when the AcA is preparing its third international conference entitled “Man and his Creations, a Perpetual Metamorphosis” scheduled for November 2024.
The MoU was signed on behalf of AcA by its chairman, Dott. Mr. Giorgos Psathas, while on behalf of AHEPA HELLAS District 25 by its Governor, Mr. Christos Karapiperis.
The event honoured with their presence His Eminence Archimandrite Prof. Aristarchos Vasilios Grekas (European Communication Institute, EKPA), the President of the Regional Council of Attica, Mr Giorgos Dimopoulos, the Vice Chancellor of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Prof. Mr EustathiosEustathopoulos, the Professor of Geopolitics and Modern Military Technologies Dr Konstantinos Grivas, the Vice President Deputy Governor of TZANEIO General Hospital Piraeus Mr Stylianos Geronymakis, the Governor of AHEPA HELLAS District 25 Mr Christos Karapiperis, and whole Board of Directors of District 25, the President of AHEPA Maritime Chapter “Saint Nίcholas” Captain DimitriosMathaiou, the National President – Goodwill Ambassador of the International Ambassador Club Mr Kyriakos Maridakis, the President of the People’s European Party Mr Andreas Rentzoulas, the Lieutenant General – Deputy Chief of the Fire Brigade (Ret.) and lawyer, Mr. Nikolaos Diamantis,Lieutenant General of the Fire Brigade (Ret.) and Honorary President of the Association of Fire Brigade Officers, Mr. John Stamoulis.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Efthimios Harokopos, Lieutenant General(Ret.).
The event commenced with a presentation on the Project Report (2015-2023) of ACA (Athens Calls Athens) by Dott. Mr. Giorgos Psathas,President of ATHENS calls ATHENS (ACA). Following this, Mr. AntonyCalokerinos, former Deputy Rector of EKPA and President of the Conference, provided a summary of the accomplished 1st and 2nd Conferences.
The central theme of the upcoming 3rd Conference (scheduled for November 2024) was elucidated by Mr. Georgios Boskou, Associate Professor and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences & Education at Harokopion University. Lieutenant General Mr. Efthimios Harokopos (Ret.) then spoke about the transition from the 1st to the 3rd Congress, while Mr. Dimitris Efstathiadis, the Advisor of ACA, discussed the organization’s global presence and collaboration with the magazine ” The AΘenian.”
Following the speeches, the event proceeded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between ACA and AHEPA HELLAS District 25. Mr. Christos Karapiperis, the Governor of AHEPA HELLAS District 25, then delivered his speech.
The event concluded with a Press Conference, Guest Statements, and a Reception, providing a platform for attendees to exchange ideas and suggestions aimed at advancing the noble goals of AcA and its institutional partners.
